Day 1: Arrive at Penzance
You make your own way to Penzance. We can assist with coach transfers if necessary. Car parking is available for the duration of the walk.
Day 2: Penzance to Hayle.    14 miles     moderate
You start your walking holiday on the South West Coast Path by heading for Marazion and St Michael's Mount. If the tide is out you can walk there across the causeway, or take the ferry. Not to be missed! Then you walk the St Michael's Way north across the peninsular to Hayle. This path was one of the routes used by pilgrims on route from Ireland to Italy.

Day 3: Hayle to Zennor.    12 miles    severe
There are stunning views of Carbis Bay as you head towards St Ives. Then you walk along the most deserted and wildest stretch of the South West Coast Path. On a clear day you can see as far back as St Agnes Beacon. Seals can sometimes be sighted on The Carracks.

Levant Mine, Cornwall Day 4: Zennor to Cape Cornwall.    11 miles    severe
You begin today's walk around Gurnard's Head which was once an Iron Age settlement. The lighthouse at Pendeen Watch is in view for most of the day and there is plenty of industrial archaeology to poke around. Levant Beam Engine and Geevor Tin Mine are both worth a visit. On a clear day from Cape Cornwall you can see the Scilly Isles.
Day 5: Cape Cornwall to Porthcurno   12 miles      moderate
Cape Cornwall is where the Atlantic Ocean meets the English Channel. You are now heading in a southerly direction towards Land's End across Whitesand Bay and Sennen Cove. After Land's End you start going south-east and before arriving in Porthcurno you can visit the Minack Open-air Theatre.

Day 6: Porthcurno to Lamorna.    5 miles    strenuous
The Telegraph Museum is worth a visit before leaving Porthcurno. You are walking back in an easterly direction now.
Penzance, Cornwall
Day 7: Lamorna to Penzance.  6 miles    easy
After heading towards Mousehole, pronounced "Mouzel", a quaint fishing village, you walk around Mounts Bay via Newlyn back to Penzance.
Day 8: Depart after breakfast.
We can transfer you to the train or coach station.
