Each day of your stay one of our staff will be on hand to suggest walks
as well as an option to join them for a guided walk to one of the areas
best coastal walks in our own minibus.
On New Year's Eve there will be a Gala Dinner in the hotel.
On New Year's Day we will take a short guided walk around St Ives, stopping
at a pub or hotel for some liquid refreshment.
The itinerary for this holiday is flexible and offers the chance of some
great winter walking with the added advantage of comfortable surroundings
and central location for those who decide to spend some lazy time in good
company.
To start your Cornish New Year walking holiday you make your own way to Penzance in Cornwall. There is an optional pickup from Newquay airport to transfer you to Penzance.
Breakfast at the hotel is a good opportunity to meet our rep and the other walkers. After breakfast our minibus will leave at 9.30am for an optional walk on the South West Coast Path from Porthcurno to Land's End and Sennen Cove. The minibus will return around 4pm. Your evening is free to sample the many fine restaurants and pubs in Penzance.
At 9:30am after breakfast our minibus will make a short transfer for an optional walk along the South West Coast Path from Prussia Cove. The lunch time stop will be at Marazion where you can say good bye to the old year gazing upon St Michael's Mount. An easy stroll around Mount's Bay takes you back to the hotel. Bring in the New Year at our Gala Dinner.
Day 4: New
Year's Day
Around mid morning we will drive you to St Ives for a leisurely stroll
around the quaint narrow streets of the picturesque town and harbour.
Visit the Tate St Ives or gaze upon the fabled special light of Carbis
Bay.
After breakfast our minibus will leave at 9.30 am to transfer you back to Penzance station or Newquay airport.
Or you can extend your holiday and spend some time exploring.
