This self guided and guided Devon walking holiday on Dartmoor
is based at one of Moretonhampstead's best hotels and offers guests the opportunity to stay in the heart of Dartmoor.
The Two Moors Way and The Dartmoor Way pass through the area.
The hotel offers an Easter menu and this walking holiday is half board. Each day you have the choice of a self-guided walk or you can come with us for a guided walk to the pick of the area.

Day 1 Good Friday 21st March: Arrive
at Moretonhampstead
To start your Dartmoor walking holiday at Easter you make your own to
Moretonhampstead in Devon. We offer an optional pickup from Exeter Airport
at 4pm and Exeter St Davids station at 5pm to transfer you to Moretonhampstead.
The evening meal at the hotel is a good opportunity to unwind into the
relaxed pace of Devon life and meet the other walkers.
After breakfast our minibus will leave at 9.30am for a optional walk in the Chagford area of Dartmoor. There is also an optional visit to Castle Drogo. We will stop at a country pub or similar for luncheon before walking along the River Teign. We will return around 4.30pm so there is plenty of time to make full use of the hotel before inclusive dinner.
After breakfast at 10.15am one of our staff will lead an optional walk on Dartmoor visiting Widecombe for pub lunch (optional). We will return in time to make full use of the hotel before inclusive dinner.
After breakfast we offer an optional transfer back to Exeter station and airport. Or you can extend your holiday and spend some time exploring Devon or perhaps walk on the South West Coast Path..

This walking holiday is very suitable for singles although places are limited.
