1: Thursday 1st April: Arrive Ilfracombe You make your own way to Ilfracombe for the start of this self-guided cycling holiday in Devon. We can assist with coach or train transfers if required. Car parking is also available. |

2: Good Friday: Ilfracombe to Bideford 31
miles From Ilfracombe you cycle along a former railway track to Woolacombe where you will want to stop and enjoy the 3 miles of golden beach at Woolacombe Sands. Then you cycle down to Braunton where you join the Tarka Trail alongside the Taw Estuary to Bideford. |

3: Saturday 4th April: Bideford to Okehampton 30
miles You rejoin the traffic-free Tarka Trail cycle route again today along a former railway line beside the River Torridge, through tunnels and over bridges. Then you cycle through the undulating Devon country lanes to Okehampton. Visit Okehampton Castle and hear about how it was destroyed by Henry VIII. |

4: Easter Sunday: Okehampton to Tavistock 20
miles Today you cycle the Granite Way along the edge of Dartmoor. Then through the historic village of Lydford with its famous castle and gorge, and on to Tavistock, one of Devon's ancient stannary towns. |
