Enjoy a self-guided walking holiday on the 36 mile Coleridge Way through some of Somerset's most spectacular countryside. You pass through the Quantock Hill, the Brendon Hills and Exmoor, the landscape which inspired Coleridge to produce some of his best work.

Self-guided walking holidays on Coleridge Way in Somerset

The route starts in Nether Stowey in the Quantock Hill where Coleridge lived for 3 years, and makes its way through a variety of landscapes - heathland, moorland, woodland, farmland, valleys and villages, until it reaches the north coast at Porlock.

You can walk this wonderful trail through Somerset over 3 days at about 10 miles per day. You can also make it into a longer walking holiday by linking up with the South West Coast Path which goes through Porlock, the Two Moors Way which goes through neighbouring Lynmouth, and with the Macmillan Way West which intersects at Bicknoller.. Which ever you choose, we organize the luggage transfer so your bags are at your next accommodation when you arrive.
